Traveling to Finland in autumn means searching for the amazing colors of nature. On my first trip to this land, I expected cold and rainy conditions, but a sunny and pleasant day awaited me. One day, sitting in a comfortable chair under the blue sky was an unparalleled experience.
We first visited the Mustila Botanical Garden, which is the oldest and largest botanical garden in the country. Walking under the lush trees and colorful leaves gave us a strange feeling. After that, we indulged in another special experience, tasting local wine, which helped us gain a better understanding of the local culture.

Continuing our journey, we arrived at the Sahansalmi resort in the heart of Finland's lakes. The beautiful and sunny landscapes of this area strangely conveyed a Mediterranean vibe. Although September was coming to an end and autumn was approaching, the trees still shone mostly in green, with only the tips of the leaves showing a hint of fiery color.
Our journey from Helsinki to the shores of Lake Saimaa was a quest for the famous autumn colors known as "ruska." These colors only reveal themselves a few weeks before the cold winter of Finland arrives. However, as we traveled, most of the trees remained vividly green, with only slight signs of autumn colors visible.
