Ali Namdar, 21 years old, was arrested in Tangier, Morocco at the request of Swedish authorities as a key member of the Foxtrot crime network from Sweden. He was wanted on charges of attempted murder and incitement to grenade attacks and had been placed on the list of wanted suspects in Europe.
Details of the Arrest
Namdar, known by the alias "Joker," was arrested with fake identification documents and is currently in custody in Morocco. He is accused of 18 different crimes, including inciting a 12-year-old girl to detonate two grenades in the Holta area of Borås, Sweden, last year. The Swedish police have referred to him as one of the violent members of this network.

Consequences of the Arrest
This arrest, according to Swedish officials, is a strategic detention of an individual who has long influenced violence in Sweden. Petra Lund, the National Police Commissioner of Sweden, expressed gratitude for the cooperation and professional and effective work of Moroccan authorities. A request for Namdar's extradition to Morocco will also be submitted, and this process may take several months.
The Foxtrot network, along with its founder, Rafa Majid, has been sanctioned by the United States and the United Kingdom for carrying out attacks against Jewish and Israeli targets on behalf of Iran. This network has recently sparked a wave of gang violence in Sweden, leading to an increase in the murder rate in the country.
Namdar's arrest is the latest case of fugitives linked to the Foxtrot network apprehended by Swedish authorities. Mohammad Mahdi, known as the second-in-command of this network, was arrested in Tunisia on murder charges in May. Additionally, Ali Shahab, 21, was arrested for recruiting children to kill rival criminals in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
