Farewell with Hello: Generation Z and Scammers Have Forgotten the Greeting

In the world of modern communication, nothing is like it used to be. The word that was known as a formal and friendly greeting is now on the brink of being forgotten. It seems that Generation Z, with their different approaches and also internet scammers, have put an end to this historic word. Is this the end of an era?

Changes in Communication Styles

Technology is rapidly changing, and the ways we communicate with each other have dramatically transformed. The new generation prefers to communicate briefly and quickly using messaging apps and social media. There is no longer a need to wait to hear a person's voice on the line. For this reason, the greeting as a formal beginning seems to have become meaningless.

Moreover, phone scammers have exacerbated this trend. With the increase in anonymous and suspicious calls, people have become extremely cautious and prefer to remain silent rather than answer, to ensure the true identity of the callers. This silence has, in a way, led to the demise of the word hello.

Social Consequences

These developments have not only impacted communication methods but have also affected social structures. In today's world, direct and intimate communications have easily given way to short and emotionless messages. Are these changes beneficial for us, or are we heading towards alienation and loneliness?

Ultimately, it seems that the word hello, which was once a symbol of welcome and affection, is now forgotten in the digital world and under the influence of the new generation and its dangers. Are we ready to come to terms with this transformation, or should we perhaps seek to revive this valuable word?
