In an unprecedented operation, the Federal Prosecutor's Office of Germany has brought serious charges against seven suspected members of Hamas. These individuals are accused of supplying weapons to carry out attacks against Israeli and Jewish locations in Germany and Austria.

A Plan for an Attack on the Anniversary of the Massacre

Reports indicate that this group intended to execute their plans on the anniversary of the October 7, 2023 massacre. Fortunately, the police thwarted the conspiracy before the group could proceed with their attacks.

Investigations reveal that the planned attacks included assaults on Israeli diplomats, Jewish community centers, and pro-Israel memorial events. It is reported that one of the suspects in Vienna recorded a video in front of the Hamas flag on August 7, 2025, speaking of revenge in the name of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.

Military Equipment and Arrests

During the investigations, the prosecutor's office reported the discovery of an automatic rifle and 13 handguns. According to officials, these suspects acted under the orders of senior Hamas officials. In this context, German special forces discovered the weapons on October 1, 2025, in the yard of a residence in Berlin.

In this operation, men named Ahmad E. and Wael M., a Lebanese national, were arrested. Additionally, one group member, Muhammad S., was identified at the time of his arrest as an informant for Germany's domestic security agency.

The Federal Prosecutor's Office of Germany has pointed to the connection of these weapons with previous cases, stating that senior Hamas members, including Aboud al.G. and Youssef J., have been involved in supplying weapons and ammunition in Germany. In this regard, another man named Muhammad A. was also arrested in Britain and is accused of connections with Hamas leadership.
