In a significant and historic event in Berlin, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and Friedrich Merz, Chancellor of Germany, today signed new strategic agreements that could strengthen the relations between the two countries.

New Agreements and the Investment Council

This meeting specifically addressed the establishment of the UAE-Germany Investment Council, aimed at enhancing economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. Given the high economic potentials of the UAE and Germany, this council could serve as a bridge for various investment fields.

During the ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed emphasized the importance of international cooperation, stating: "We are looking to strengthen mutual relations with Germany, and these agreements reflect our serious determination to develop economic cooperation." Chancellor Merz also expressed satisfaction with this collaboration, highlighting the existing capacities in the markets of both countries and said: "Germany and the UAE can together seize new opportunities."

Other Agreements and Joint Projects

In addition to establishing the Investment Council, the two parties also signed other agreements in the fields of technology, energy, and innovation. These agreements could facilitate the development of joint projects in various areas, including renewable energy, information technology, and health.

These initiatives not only align with increasing economic cooperation but could also serve as a model for other countries in diplomatic and economic fields. It seems that the UAE and Germany, with these agreements, are taking significant steps towards a brighter and more fruitful future.
