The film Hanuman Ansh, directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, is recognized as the third highest-grossing Hindi film of 2026 with sales of 3 billion rupees. This remarkable success comes despite the film initially facing a lukewarm reception, with its number of screenings dropping to 29 per day.

Unsuccessful Opening and Return to the Market

The film Hanuman Ansh was released on August 7, 2026, but on its first day, it only earned 10 lakh rupees from 355 screenings. After a week, this amount decreased, and the production team realized that the film was fading. In this situation, Shobhinav Satya, the lead actor, and director Vishal Chaturvedi decided to take an active role in cinemas to attract audience attention. This strategy was successful in the city of Surat, leading the cinema owner to add more screenings for the film.

Amazing Increase in Sales

After three weeks and with the help of positive audience feedback, the number of screenings for Hanuman Ansh increased to 1,847 on the nineteenth day. The film managed to earn 12.75 crore rupees on the fourth Sunday, and this upward trend continued. On the 41st day, the film's sales reached 6 crore rupees, bringing its total earnings to 300.25 crore rupees, which includes 280 crore rupees from the domestic market and 20.25 crore rupees from the foreign market.

Hanuman Ansh is now ranked third among the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year, only behind Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2. This success has been achieved despite facing intense competition from other cinematic works, but it has managed to continue its strong return to sales.
