Emirates will launch its A380 flights to Paris with Premium Economy cabin services starting October 25, 2026. These flights will operate daily under flight numbers EK071 and EK072, providing Premium Economy cabin services to all of Emirates' gateways in France.
Sustained Demand for Premium Economy Cabin
Following the launch of Premium Economy cabins in Lyon and Nice, these services have consistently maintained a healthy seat load factor, with one in ten passengers traveling to Dubai opting for this cabin. This indicates a continuous demand for Premium Economy cabins, which aim to provide a more comfortable space and an enhanced experience for travelers on long-haul flights.
A significant portion of the incoming traffic to France consists of long-haul flights from destinations such as the Emirates, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, India, and Thailand. Therefore, travelers are seeking additional space, comfort, and an excellent experience during flights exceeding 10 hours.
Features of the Premium Economy Cabin
Emirates' Premium Economy cabin is meticulously designed to offer an upgraded journey from takeoff to landing. This cabin resembles the business class experience and is located at the front of the main deck. It features 56 seats arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration, with high-quality leather seats that have reclining capabilities, enhancing passenger comfort and convenience.
Passengers can enjoy gourmet menus inspired by various regions, prepared by Emirates' chefs. These meals are served on Royal Doulton china and stainless steel cutlery from the Robert Welch brand, placed on wooden tables integrated into the seatbacks.
Additionally, Premium Economy cabin passengers benefit from a dedicated check-in counter and priority boarding at Charles de Gaulle Airport. They are also allowed to carry 35 kilograms of checked baggage and 10 kilograms of hand luggage.
In addition to introducing the Premium Economy cabin, the refurbished A380 will also upgrade the first, business, and economy class cabins. These cabins have been completely updated in terms of design and decor, featuring new cream, bronze, and sky blue colors, along with light wooden accents that create a sense of brightness and freshness for passengers.
Passengers can also enjoy unique experiences on Emirates' A380, including a dedicated lounge and shower spa. These spaces are equipped with new designs and high-quality wood and soft lighting for enhanced passenger relaxation.
