Attention to Beauty and Social Image
Selena also addressed the attention given to her appearance in 2016, saying that it sometimes became intense and overwhelming. She jokingly mentioned that some people like to see her at that specific time as "frozen," even though nearly a decade has passed since then. She recalls that during that time, her life was full of challenges and pressures, and to look "cool," she had to wear specific makeup.
Nowadays, Selena Gomez pointed out that her approach to beauty and aging has changed. She believes that her most important priorities as she continues her third decade of life are happiness and doing things she loves.
Inspiration from Those Around Her
Selena also mentioned the role of her peers, including her co-stars in the series "Only Murders in the Building." She referred to Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Meryl Streep as role models who have shown how to cope well with aging while maintaining a satisfying personal and professional life.
These experiences have helped Selena view aging as an opportunity rather than a fear. With this perspective, she hopes that others can also embrace these changes as a positive part of their lives.
