The Arabian Travel Market 2026 (ATM) will take place from September 14 to 17, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This event, which is the thirty-third edition of the main travel and tourism exhibition in the region, has become a new milestone in the tourism industry with over 55,000 participants from 166 countries and around 1,400 exhibitors and 48 national and group pavilions.
Attendance of Officials and Programs
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the exhibition on its opening day. This is the second consecutive year he has attended this exhibition. The exhibition is held under the theme "Travel 2040: Advancing New Frontiers through Innovation and Technology" and addresses the challenges and opportunities facing the tourism industry.

The opening program included a ministerial session titled "Building Resilient Industry through Collaboration," where Abdullah bin Touq Al Mari, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, Sheikha Al Nawis, Secretary-General of UN Tourism, Fatima Jafar Al Sirafi, Minister of Tourism of Bahrain, and Apostolos Tzitzikostas, European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism, spoke.
Development and Innovation in the Tourism Industry
ATM 2026 also witnessed the introduction of the ATM Travel Tech exhibition, which featured over 180 exhibitors from 30 countries in a technology and innovation hub covering 850 square meters. This section explored technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and green technology, with Dr. Marwan Al Zarouni, CEO of AI in the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, discussing how the next generation of tourism systems is being shaped using connected data in the aviation, hospitality, and transport industries.
Aviation and hospitality groups took this opportunity to announce their development plans. Emirates announced that it would introduce its new Premium Economy seat at this exhibition, which will fly to 138 destinations in 73 countries. Additionally, Rotana, one of the largest hospitality companies in the Gulf, introduced its new brand called Edge by Rotana and opened new international sales offices in Paris, Milan, Amsterdam, and Istanbul.
In 2025, Dubai welcomed 19.6 million international visitors, with about 2 million visitors recorded in December alone. Among the 48 national and group pavilions present at the exhibition, the Dubai pavilion led with over 115 partner exhibitors, and the newly established Visit Sharjah pavilion, as well as the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism and the national presence of Saudi Arabia, were also notable at this exhibition.
AURA 919, as the exhibition structure builder and event producer, has provided and supported the graphic needs of exhibitors at this exhibition. This company was established in Dubai in 2009 and also operates in Riyadh and Doha. The Arabian Travel Market 2026 will continue until September 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with daily working hours from 10 AM to 6 PM.
