ROX has started car production in Abu Dhabi, marking a new phase in the company's development and increasing its advanced production goals in the UAE.
The first ROX ADAMAS vehicles produced in the UAE have rolled off the production line at ROX's advanced artificial intelligence manufacturing center in KEZAD. This move signifies a significant shift in the industrial footprint of the ROX brand. Rather than being seen as an international automotive company that produces cars locally, ROX is increasingly building its next stage around the UAE, with Abu Dhabi serving as a hub for manufacturing, technology, design, and future international expansion.

Developing the Automotive Ecosystem in the UAE
ROX is now transferring most of its automotive operations to the UAE, from manufacturing and testing to artificial intelligence and design. This approach is designed to create an automotive ecosystem with Emirati roots capable of developing products, technologies, and expertise locally before entering foreign markets.

Production Capacity and Collaboration with ADIO
ROX's advanced manufacturing center in KEZAD includes over 80 types of component subassemblies and also performs complete vehicle assembly, calibration, rain testing, road testing, and final inspection before delivery. ROX aims to achieve an annual production capacity of 300,000 vehicles by 2030, giving the Abu Dhabi operations the potential to become an effective part of the UAE's advanced manufacturing landscape.
The opening of the ROX AI LAB and ROX Design Studio as part of this development has added AI and design capabilities to physical production and brought together further stages of vehicle development in the UAE. These facilities continue to collaborate with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and support ROX's plans to localize operations in supply chains, technology, and design.
