The AIDO Cell model was introduced in late August 2023 and is specifically designed to simulate how a cell changes in response to various tests. This system operates in a way that simulates cellular changes against various experimental measurements, allowing researchers to virtually explore cell behavior.

The AIDO Cell model is based on a concept called "world model," which allows users to make predictions about various states and take actions in the midst of those predictions. This feature helps researchers gain a better understanding of how cells behave in real-world conditions.
Applications and Future of AIDO Cell
With the use of AIDO Cell, biologists can perform accurate simulations of cell behavior under various conditions instead of conducting physical experiments in the lab. This model enables researchers to conduct broader and more open experiments using software.
GenBio AI is also developing a virtual cell bank that allows researchers to download custom cells and conduct their experiments on them. The company is seeking strategic collaborations to accelerate the construction of this cell bank. This initiative could lead to significant advancements in biological and pharmaceutical research.
Eric Zing, one of the co-founders of GenBio AI, stated: "We have not yet fully solved cellular biology, but we have created a system that can be examined as if it were a real cell." He also emphasized the importance of modeling and simulating life at various scales and noted that GenBio AI's world model is a pathway to a future where biology is computable, predictable, and ultimately programmable.
